Jungle Bible School

I have been on the mission field for more than 40 years. When I arrived in Colombia in 1972, the Orinoco-Amazon Basins held over 215 ethnic groups speaking 170 different languages.  The “New Tribes Mission” had been working in Colombia since the early 1940’s. One specific tribe, the Curripacos responded favorably to the gospel and numerous Baptist Indian Churches were established in the Jungles of Venezuela, Brazil and Colombia.

THE OPPORTUNITY: Colombian-Venezuelan Indian church leaders from "Biblicos Unidos"have petitioned LAMB INSTITUTE and COLOMBIAN BAPTIST INSTITUTE. They want us to set up a campus in their area, preferably near or in Puerto Inirida, Colombia.

There have been many challenges. But, when God opens doors of service, He intends for us to enter.  He is always faithful for His Work to be accomplished. Although we might not see the means by which it will be accomplished, it is necessary to step out by faith, knowing that God will supply whatever is necessary.
